RIFTERS

Rifters are the outcasts, optimists, and fortune seekers that choose to come through the rift. Not tied to any one place or occupation, they continue the mythological history of the knight-errant and cowboy, wandering the frontier, taking on odd jobs, and trying to get by.

Almost without fail, a Rifter is both trying to get away from something old and trying to define or discover something new. A population of immense diversity, Rifters are representative of the breadth of hopes and dreams that populate the far side of the rift.

Rifters are the crystallized essence of the new frontier - egalitarian, independent, curious, and often violent. They reliably produce results in their quest to make ends meet and, more often than not, learn something about themselves along the way.
